Various Representative Projects
Tinker Air Force Base – Midwest City, Oklahoma
StanTech conducted multiple base-wide groundwater sampling and gauging events, which included the collection of groundwater samples and measurement of groundwater levels in over 1,100 monitoring wells located over a 10-square-mile area. Samples were analyzed for volatile and semi-volatile organic compounds, metals, and field parameters. The well gauging work scope was completed within a 5-day time period per client requirements. All data were collected under stringent QA/QC requirements.
StanTech obtained environmental and cultural resource records for proposed pipeline alignment routes for raw water transmission lines and proposed intake, pump station, and staging area associated with a proposed power plant. This included coordination of field inspections deemed necessary based on findings of wetlands and archaeological site records. StanTech prepared an Environmental Assessment (EA), as required by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. Completion of the project required extensive coordination with the client, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and various agencies.
Industrial Wastewater Permitting
Concrete Manufacturing Facility – Oklahoma
StanTech prepared permit applications for industrial wastewater point-source discharges and wastewater land applications associated with a concrete structure fabrication facility in Oklahoma. The permit was issued to the client by the ODEQ. StanTech conducted the subsequent permit renewal, and coordinated design and installation of a wastewater treatment system at the facility.
Standard Testing and Engineering Company (STEC) installed over 2,000 soil borings and 50 monitoring wells for the subsurface characterization of soil, waste, and groundwater impact. Subsurface soils were characterized for lithology. Direct push and auger drilling technologies with continuous core sampling were utilized. Groundwater samples were also collected. Bedrock cores were obtained using air and wet rotary coring methods. ASTM testing of soil and rock samples was conducted utilizing STEC laboratory facilities, as appropriate.
Exploration and Production Tank Battery – Central Oklahoma – Large Independent Oil Company
StanTech conducted quarterly groundwater monitoring associated with a release of produced saltwater at an oil and gas facility. Groundwater monitoring activities included measurements/monitoring of groundwater levels and collection of groundwater samples for laboratory analysis.
Environmental Consulting Services
Landfills – Numerous Locations
StanTech performed quality assurance and oversight of the construction of numerous landfills including the Lone Mountain hazardous waste disposal facility in Waynoka, Oklahoma and municipal landfills in Dallas, Irving, Grand Prairie, and Denton, Texas.
